Amity at Toowoomba encourages residents to make decisions and have an input on the activities and the running of the home. Amity at Toowoomba has two cockatiels that are cared for by the residents and the home regularly adopts a pet from the local RSPCA which also lives at the home.
Children visit the residents at Amity at Toowoomba regularly to sing, play the piano and the violin. The home also has an affiliation with a local primary school and residents are invited to the school for morning teas and to participate in activities with the children.
Set on the top of a hill, the home enjoys spectacular views over looking Toowoomba and the lush gardens surrounding the home. Residents can enjoy these views from their rooms.
