Amity Group is currently undergoing building works that will see the merger of two Amity Nursing homes, Amity at Tamworth and Peel Nursing home will bring an additional 68 residential aged care beds to the town.
The refurbished nursing home will offer the residents of Tamworth a mix of standard high care, a secure demnita wing and low care.
The project is due for completion in August 2009.
