Since 2005, Amity Group has enjoyed a business relationship with Guardian Healthcare Group in New Zealand.
Guardian have 46 rest homes and hospital facilities located throughout New Zealand and the Group also incorporates 350 retirement village units and serviced apartments and 13,000 home medical alarm customers.
The partnership between Amity Group and Guardian Healthcare is an appropriate fit in that both companies have a similiar Vision and Values. Like Amity, the characteristics of a Guardian facility are safe, warm and friendly environments where dedicated staff deliver a high standard of care to all residents.

A Sister Facility initiative was launched in 2006 between Amity and Guardian facilities where homes of similiar size, care programs and staff numbers have been paired. The aim is for each manager to have another avenue of support and resource available.  |
