Amity’s commitment to the learning and development of our employees is reinforced by having a dedicated Learning and Development team who specialise in developing opportunities to continually enhance our employees’ career development.

In addition to essential professional development, we offer:

  • Aged Care Channel - provides employees working at our facilities with interactive in-house training and education, via satellite;
  • Management Development Program - run in conjunction with Deakin Prime, a part of Deakin University;
  • Registered Nurse Leadership Skills Program - has been developed to provide Amity Registered Nurses with skills required for their role as a leader ensuring effective team management;
  • College of Nursing - Amity provides membership for our managers to the College which gives them online access to the College of Nursing Library; and
  • Amity Smart - packages developed, written and produced by our Learning and Development Team on an ongoing basis and in line with business needs.
