Amity Annual Facility Awards

Amity's Facility Awards are presented at the Group's annual conference gala dinner. The two awards - the Facility of the Year and the Continuous Improvement Award acknowledges the overall performance of a team at a particular facility.

In 2007, Amity at Campbelltown in South Australia was awarded the Facility of the Year. The team at this facility exceeded expectations in their commitment to Amity's Vision, Values and Goals and for achieving excellence in service and care.

Amity at Wodonga in Victoria received the Continuous Improvement Award in 2007 for demonstrating continuous improvement and innovation linked to Amity's Vision, Values and Goals.

External Awards
5 Star Food Safety Award Amity at Donvale was recognised by Manningham City Council as a leader in food safety in 2006. The facility was awarded the 5 Star Award for their contribution to implementing and maintaining food safety practices.

Merit Certificate, Aged Care Standard and Accreditation Agency Amity at Newcomb received the Merit Certificate for the second time in 2005. This award recognises the high level of involvement and feedback from residents and family in decision making across the facility, encouraging a sense of purpose, belonging and ownership.
